Best Pet Friendly Resort on Bull Shoals Lake, AR

My family has been going to Edgewater Resort for the last 35 years taking up to 30 family and friends. It is the only pet friendly resort we have found and the resort that is closest to the water. Sue and Bob Wilson are great owners that help make your vacation a super memory. They have two docks and 13 cabins with 1-3 bedrooms. This is a place that you go to relax, ski, swim, fish, tube, and just enjoy the beautiful 50,000 acres of Bull Shoals. Edgewater Resort has Wi-Fi, but do yourself a favor and use it very little. Enjoy time with your family and friends. There is not a restaurant on the premise and it is about 10 minutes to Lakeview Marina or Bull Shoals Marina for pizza, ice cream, sandwiches. If you want a great restaurant, head to Gaston's on the White River which is 40 minutes from the resort. Our group elects to put our food together and have dinners together except for one night at Gaston's. The high school and college kids enjoy dressing up and putting make up on for the only time all week. The group picture is a biggie in front of the beautiful lake every year before heading to Gaston's. The water at Bull Shoals Lake is beautiful. You can be up to your neck in water and see your toes. You will feel like the lake belongs to you except for a few boats and fishermen. Boats can be rented from either marina listed above as well as guided fishing trips on the lake and the White River. It's really neat to go to the dam and look over and see the White River. A huge difference in depth. Great vacation we hope to continue generation to generation.
